As a California native, I feel this one in my bones. I’ve always been proud of my home state’s independent spirit—and I’m passionate about protecting it. When I saw peaceful protesters being met with military force during ICE raids in Los Angeles, I knew I had to speak out in the best way I know how—through art.

The classic “California Republic” legend remains, but with a twist—it underscores our refusal to be silenced and our commitment to stand up for what’s right, no matter who tries to shut us down.
